Step 3 buy your new sweep.
How to install shower door sweep.
Place the glass clamp sweep into place on the door s bottom edge and secure it at the door clamp.
If the new sweep doesn t stop the leak consider recaulking around the shower door area see how to fix a shower door or checking the grout around the shower.
You don t need to find a sweep that matches but it does need to be at least as long if not longer than the original sweep.
You will notice that the longer the sweep is the more expensive it is as well.
Attach the seal strip to the bottom of the door and cut it to the required length.
Replacing the side sweep or acrylic seal of your shower door isn t difficult but it does involve more measuring marking and cutting than either the door stop or the bottom sweep.
Tip keep a bathmat in front of the shower entrance to protect the floor from excess moisture and to reduce the chances of someone slipping after a shower.
Put the finishing touch on your shower door installation.
Place end caps on the tops of the wall channels.
