How to hang a shower door sliding.
Use the hardware provided to secure it.
Replace or adjust the rollers in the same way.
Install the top track over the wall jambs with the correct side facing out.
Repeat the installation on the other jamb.
Install the sliding hardware on the glass door.
Let the door swing gently into the frame.
To install a shower door start by marking the points on the wall where the door frame will be attached.
Re hang the door by going inside the tub or shower and lifting the door until it touches the top of the metal frame over the track.
Install them over the screws at the top and bottom of the jamb.
Angle the door so that the bottom is away from the door frame and hook the wheels into the track.
Rollers on the outside door face outward.
Swinging doors tend to be better suited for small shower stalls those that measure 48 inches 120 cm or less from wall to wall where limited space makes it easier to have a single large door.
Rollers for the inside door face inside the shower enclosure.
Step 6 seal.
If the door is coated make sure the uncoated side faces out.
The rollers are attached to the upper shower door with a screw.
They ride along a slanted adjustment slot that will raise and or lower the wheel.
Hang the inside door first sliding it all the way forward toward the wall with the showerhead.
Next pre drill holes into the tiled walls and hammer in the plastic wall anchors to hold the side columns in place.
Once the hardware is installed hang the doors on the top track.
Then apply a thin line of caulk along the metal threshold and press it firmly onto the tub.
Sliding doors hang from the top track so install it over the wall jambs as directed by the manufacturer.
Prepare the doors by installing roller and if applicable handle towel bar hardware.
Install the outer door and make sure both glide freely.
Assemble and install the sliding glass door.
