For you tile lovers floor to ceiling bathroom wall tiles are the way to go.
How far up the wall should bathroom tile go.
Personally i like more tile though.
We love the clean look of the straight set tile in the bathrooms below.
Tiles in a bathroom are not.
You don t have to do tile around the toilet or up the wall.
The positioning of your wall outlets makes a difference.
I also think it s a style choice.
We are about to gut and remodel a small bathroom and we want to install classic black and white subway tile around the tub and white wainscoting around the other three walls should we go all the way to the top with the wainscoting or three quarters of the way up wall.
As one of the most frequented rooms in the house a bathroom deservedly gets a lot of attention when it comes to decorating.
I m currently redoing our bathroom and am doing tile on 1 the floor 2 the built in bath tub 3 the wall above the bath tub 4 the shower wall and 5 the shower floor.
The look is fresh and modern and can be done in every shape size and color there is.
I don t think there really is a standard answer but there are a few things to consider.
Which will make it look bigger.
Will the wainscoting hold up in a bathroom given moisture.
How high do you put shower wall tiles.
I don t care for the look where the tile goes all the way to the ceiling prefer stopping around bottom of cabinets.
